SANCTUARY PAT RYAN MAKES HUDSON VALLEY COMMUNITIES LESS SAFE

Here in the Hudson Valley, thousands of miles away from our Southern border, migrant crime has rocked our communities. Not only has Pat Ryan refused to act to make our communities safer, he proudly supports the open border and sanctuary policies that have made our lives less safe.

In 2019, as county executive, Ryan signed an executive order that barred any county agency from cooperating with ICE officers trying to track down illegal immigrants. Ryan is on record saying he would “stand in solidarity with our immigrant communities and oppose coordination with ICE agents in Ulster County.”
